We started in late 2002 to develop the System. When we started off, it was just a rudimentary
framework with a dynamic navigation and some basic "modules".
First we started by implementing a simple templatesystem into the core and such it began to grow.
In 2004 we released v1.0 of the so called "netCMS" core.
Development began to speed up as we decided to work 150% on it.
v1.5 was basically a redesign, 2.0 a cleanup and 2.5 another redesign. in those 3 releases
we implemented a lot of stuff und rewrote about 80% of the code to implement some ground braking core features.
in 2.5 another great core feature came in. With the integrated blocksystem, the system was years ahead of
systems on it's price class.
Version 3.0 was released January 2006 and had an overall redesign and featured for the first time a module API and the ability
to have more than one navigation on the site.
At that point we realized that everything in the system was completly dynamic and the possibilities of the system were unlimited.
So we called the release netCMS 3.0 unlimited.
Now, the complete System is released under the LGPL license with a new name Falt4.
